Pamela has written seventeen books for children.

These range from picture books, including the beautiful re-telling of the Russian legend of Cherryblossom and the Golden Bear; the much-loved Floramonde series including Pamela's first published novel, The Willow Tree's Daughter; and books for young adults, including the award-winning story of Mary MacKillop's early years The Black Dress.
